Digital Certificates

Non Resident FAQ's

When can I start trading?
You can start trading once your application is completed on our website and then approved by Companies House usually between 3-6 hours (depending on workload). You will automatically receive an email from us notifying that your new company is officially ready to trade.

When will I receive my UTR number?
Your Unique Taxpayer Reference will be issued by HMRC once they are notified by Companies House about the company formation. You will receive a letter with your UTR which is a 10-digit number sometimes referred to as a ‘corporation tax reference’.

What are the ID requirements?
We have a legal obligation to check official proof of ID and address documents for account holders and company officers. We usually perform a digital ID verification check on your identity and address, you can read more on our ID Requirements page.

Are there any hidden costs?
Certainly not. None of our packages have hidden costs you only pay the price given, VAT included. We do not have additional costs unless you select the extra paid services. A secure website, we offer our customers cost-effective products, and believe in providing a trustworthy formation platform.

How many shares should I have?
Companies House require at least one share minimum for a limited company however there is not a maximum number of shares to be held by a shareholder.

When will I receive my free offers?

Is it possible to incorporate my company immediately?
That’s right. Simply add the Fast Track Service in your package purchase for our 2-hour incorporation, this will guarantee your company is incorporated on the same day. You must complete your application on our website correctly, and then submit before 3pm, on a working day. If your application is made after 3PM, then your company will be incorporated by 9AM the following working day.

Does my residential address appear on the public register?
Unfortunately, yes. Your residential address will appear on the public register if you work from home it can therefore be viewed by anyone. We provide an annual service address for only £35.00 or you can make the most of our Non-Resident package to which it is included for a nominal price.

I am a Non-UK resident. Can you provide me with a business bank account?
Yes, on your behalf, we will directly contact specialized banks in the UK who provide business banking services for non-residents. We ensure your bank account will be opened within a maximum of a week. No UK visits required, we can handle this for you.

What do Non-Residents need to start a company in the UK?
All UK limited companies require a UK address as the Company Registered Office, which is included in our Non-Resident Package as standard. In addition, we would also require copy of your ID and Address proof as this is a legal requirement. Finally, your basic details to fill the application such as your date of birth, nationality and your preferred Company Name.
