Apostille Service Details

  • If you wish for your documents to be apostilled, you must send them to us with a completed order form and we will forward them on to our partnered solicitors.
  • They will verify the documents are proper and official, before sending them on to the FCO (Foreign and Commonwealth Office) by secure mail. The FCO will carry out further checks, for example to ensure the person who issued the document is a government official, and if the document passes an apostille certificate will be attached. The documents with the certificates will then be returned to you.
  • The certificate ensures the document will be accepted by all countries under the 1961 Hague agreement.

Why you might need Apostilled Documents:

  • If you plan to take your business abroad, you will need your company documents to be apostilled so that they can be verified by the authorities in that country.

What documents can be apostilled?

Any company documents from Companies House or through our system can be apostilled, including:

  • IN01 form (Application to register a limited company)
  • Certificate of Incorporation
  • Memorandum & Articles of Association
  • Share Certificates
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Change of Company Name Certificate
  • Confirmation Statement (previously the Annual Return)
